The Ride:
Burnside Lake Out & Back Mountain Bike Trail: This is a ride to a high alpine lake on a double track (dirt road). It is a cool ride during the summer months because it is mostly shaded from the forest. It is a small lake in a peaceful setting for a picnic and relaxation. There are not a lot of people or vehicles here because there is little room for them. The return back is a fun downhill ride but be cautious as motor vehicles could be climbing up.
